Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Executive – Financial Reporting to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for overseeing the preparation, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations, and supporting senior management with insights for strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation across multiple entities and jurisdictions, and experience in leading process improvements in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Assist in preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
  • Support preparation of board-level reporting packs and dashboards.

Month-End Close & Analysis

  • Execute month-end closing activities such as accruals, prepayments, revenue recognition, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with high accuracy.
  • Ensure proper cutoff procedures and accounting adjustments.
  • Maintain relevant schedules

Inventory

  • Perform inventory reconciliations between ERP, WMS, and finance systems.
  • Investigate and resolve
    inventory variances
    , shrinkage, negative stocks, and cost
  • Ensure accurate posting of inventory-related journal entries, provisions, and adjustments.
  • Own
    month-end close activities
    related to inventory: accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare
    inventory aging reports
    , slow/non-moving stock analysis, obsolescence reports, and write-off recommendations.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and audit requirements for inventory management.
  • Support implementation of inventory-related policies such as stock count procedures, thresholds, and approval workflows.

Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Support external and internal audit processes by preparing schedules and providing documentation.

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Support automation and enhancement of reporting processes.
  • Assist in refining the Chart of Accounts, reporting templates.
  • Participate in system upgrades or ERP enhancements.

Requirements:

  • ACCA / CA finalist / ICMAP or equivalent
  • 2–5 years of relevant financial reporting or accounting experience (Senior Executive typically 4+ years).
  • Strong understanding of IFRS.
  • Experience in multi-entity, international business environments.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and reporting tools (PowerBI, Excel).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
