As a Selenium C# Automation QA Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and C#. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and C# programming language.
• Translate manual test cases into automated scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of test automation frameworks using C#.
• Implement best practices and design patterns to ensure scalability, maintainability, and reusability of automated tests.
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects and ensure the overall quality of software releases.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive regression test suites to ensure the stability and reliability of software applications across multiple releases.
• Conduct integration testing to ensure seamless interoperability and data consistency across systems and services.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of automated test scripts, test results, and test environments.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in test automation and software testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 4 to years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience in developing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and C# programming language.
• Good understanding of Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance concepts, workflows, and terminology.
• Proficiency in C# programming language for test automation development.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver for automating web-based application testing.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and best practices.
• Experience in BDD automation framework using Gherkin, Specflow etc.
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DOM manipulation.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, HP ALM, or similar.
• Good understanding of regression testing techniques and practices.
• Proactive approach to taking ownership of tasks and driving them to completion.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen diligence.
• Experience working in an Agile environment following Onsite Offshore mode.

Candidates with these additional skills on their resumes have an added advantage when their profiles are being assessed. Some of them are as follows:

• Experience in C#, Selenium WebDriver, and test automation frameworks (e.g., NUnit, MSTest).
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for effective test automation.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, INS21, Selenium, or Agile certifications are desirable.
