Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Procurement Officer – MEP for our HO Islamabad. The individual in this role will oversee procurement activities in line with project requirements, including sourcing materials, managing purchase orders, negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effective purchasing. Key responsibilities include evaluating supplier performance, supervising procurement processes and collaborating with project teams to meet deadlines. The role requires maintaining compliance with company policies and market standards.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Procurement, Purchasing and handling Purchase Orders.
- Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and managing vendor relationships effectively.
- Excellent Analytical Skills to assess pricing, quality and supplier capabilities.
- Good understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) work-related procurement is an advantage.
- Proven experience in managing budgets and cost control during the procurement process.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office tools.
