Trainee Nursing Technician, Aga Khan University Hospital

Introduction:

It also offers Home Healthcare Services and home deliveries of medicines. The Hospital provides Zakat for those patients who are eligible, and the health systems offers generous Patient Welfare to support those in financial need. In recognition of its high quality and patient safety, the AKUH is accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI) as an Academic Medical Centre and its Clinical Laboratories are accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) for fast and accurate testing.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
- perform risk assessment and deliver planned care to all assigned patients with minimum supervision
- assist in procedures such as insertion of CVC, A/Line, chest drain, wound and stoma management according to hospital guideline
- manage all assigned patients including ventilated patient
- monitor I/V fluids and fluid management
ensure timely documentation as per protocols/standards.
Requirements:
You should have:
Matriculation in Science (Biology) and Intermediate in any discipline
at least one year of relevant experience from a reputed healthcare organization
ability to effectively work in teams as well as independently and handle work pressure
willingness to work in shift duties.
