IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

To implement the plan of GPON FTTH keeping in view the financial resources ,human resources competition and searching the opportunities for customers to get the objective of doing business in profitable way and required to visit field works being deployed in approved location of project FTTH.

Further more supervision of copper work such as rehabilitation of copper pairs and cable ,divisional cabinets ,poles and verification of deployment work

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

• Conducting Technical evaluation of OSP (Access Network Copper and Fiber) including Electrical testing of U/G cables, Physical survey of OSP (MDF, Manholes, U/G cables, Cabinets, DPs, Loops, FDH, NAP, FAT, OLTs)
• Inspection of ongoing development work in the field of Access Network (Copper and Fiber) to ensure its implementation.
• Joint Survey of Cabinets renovation program carried out by Development wing.
• Preparation of checklists and its continuous improvement for use in technical audit.
• Report preparation of Weekly/Monthly activities carried out by all zones of QA throughout PTCL.
• Report generation and follow up for improvement of QOS of OSP.
• Ensuring compliance of Administrative, Financial and HR matters related to the Staff of the particular region.
• Ensuring compliance with budgets, targets, and deadlines through the implementation of cost-efficient controls.
• Ensuring compliance with legal, EHS and ethical standards.
• Ensuring every addition in each existing network element or entirely new system such as OLT FDH, Feeder route , switch ,DWDM etc are tested in accordance with the approved PAT documents and prescribed procedures
• Carrying out analysis and suggestions to the concerned team especially related to customer complaints for improvements in the Fault Rectification-Time and to avoid the re-occurrence of fault in order to reduce Churn.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification

• BE/BSc Engineering, BS(CS), BSc Technology

Competencies

• Testing of optical fiber cable
• Knowledge of reading of Drawing
• Understanding of Pin to Port Plan of FDH
• BOQ verification of GPON and other telecom related equipment
• Conducting of PAT of different type of equipent such as Fiber cable ,FTTH copper network etc
