About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated
IT Intern
to support our IT team in day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and project work. This role offers hands-on experience across hardware, software, and networking, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support (hardware, software, and network issues).
  • Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and antivirus tools.
  • Assist in user account management (creation, password resets, Office 365/Active Directory).
  • Support IT inventory management (laptops, desktops, peripherals, network devices).
  • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi/LAN connectivity issues and assist in network monitoring.
  • Document IT procedures, user guides, and maintain records of assets/issues.
  • Contribute to IT projects such as server upgrades, cloud migrations, and software deployments.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and security practices.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Basic understanding of computer hardware (RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboards).
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and MS Office Suite (Linux knowledge is a plus).
  • Networking fundamentals (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi).
  • Knowledge of common IT tools (antivirus, remote desktop, browsers).
  • Awareness of backup methods and IT security best practices.
