Copy Writer Specialist

About the Role

We're looking for a versatile B2B SaaS Copywriter who can translate complex logistics workflows into clear, compelling, high-converting messaging. This role spans performance copy, product content, long-form SEO-friendly writing, and social messaging.

You'll work closely with marketing leadership, our marketing manager, paid media, SEO, UI/UX, product, and sales. You will share workload with another internal copywriter until we finalize the long-term split of responsibilities.

This is a high-ownership role for a writer who understands SaaS buyers, moves quickly, and can elevate content across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Website & Landing Page Copy

• Write and optimize copy for homepage, feature pages, landing pages, and product sections.
• Improve clarity, structure, tone, and conversion.
• Collaborate with UI/UX to align content with layout and design direction.

2. Email & Lifecycle Messaging

• Write copy for nurture sequences, email drips, onboarding flows, demo reminders, product updates, and educational emails.
• Partner with the Email Marketing Manager to create strong subject lines, CTAs, and messaging.

3. Paid Ads & Short-Form Creative

• Create high-performing copy for:
  • Meta Ads
  • Google Search Ads
  • LinkedIn Ads
  • Retargeting variations
  • Short-form scripts (1025 seconds)
• Align messaging with paid media and funnel goals.

4. Social Messaging & Content Calendar

• Write captions, product highlights, educational posts, and snippets for social channels.
• Support and help maintain the content calendar.

5. Product & Feature Messaging

• Translate complex TMS/Logistics features into simple, benefit-driven language.
• Support product announcements, release notes, and walkthrough scripts.

6. Blogs & SEO Content

• Write 2+ SEO-supported blog posts per month.
• Collaborate with the SEO specialist on structure, direction, and keyword alignment.

7. Sales Enablement Copy

• Draft one-pagers, case study copy, overview sheets, and enablement messaging used by Sales.

Requirements

Experience

• 3-5+ years of copywriting experience
• B2B SaaS experience required
• Experience writing for software, tech, or logistics industries preferred
• Portfolio demonstrating strong web, email, ad, and long-form writing

Skills

• Exceptional writing fundamentals (clarity, structure, tone control)
• Ability to write both short-form and long-form content
• Strong understanding of SaaS buying cycles
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts
• Familiarity with writing for ads, landing pages, and funnels
• Understanding of SEO structure (not expert-level, but competent)
• Ability to work inside WordPress, HubSpot (content review), Google Docs, ClickUp
• Comfortable collaborating across Marketing, Product, SEO, and Design
