Accountant – Bookkeeping, Audit & Financial Analysis (Zeenat Laboratory)

Location: Zeenat Lab, Lawrence Road, Lahore

Work Hours: 1 PM – 10 PM Pakistan Time (Monday to Saturday)

Type: Onsite | Full-Time

Position Summary: Zeenat Laboratory is hiring a full-time accountant to lead day-to-day bookkeeping, audit preparation and compliance, collections, and financial analysis. This is a core accounting role with added responsibilities for handling U.S. client calls and supporting cross-border financial operations. If you have QuickBooks experience, strong English communication skills, and a sharp analytical mindset, we'll train you on U.S. tax filing and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
  • Prepare audit documentation and support compliance reviews
  • Monitor collections and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and reporting
  • Respond to emails and voicemails, prioritizing urgent inquiries
  • Answer inbound calls from U.S. clients with professionalism and clarity
  • Assist with tax preparation and filing (training provided)
  • Conduct initial client consultations and document follow-ups
  • Track financial tasks and outreach efforts using Excel or CRM tools
  • Review daily progress and plan next-day priorities

Requirements:

  • Experience with QuickBooks and general bookkeeping
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn tax systems and compliance protocols
  • A-Levels preferred; ACCA, CA, or CPA certification is a plus
  • Familiarity with audit processes, collections, and financial analysis
  • Professional, reliable, and client-focused attitude
