Lead and manage complex audit engagements for hedge fund clients, ensuring audits are conducted in full compliance with GAAP, GAAS, and other relevant regulations


• Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans, including defining objectives, scope, and procedures specifically tailored to hedge fund operations.


• Serve as the primary liaison for hedge fund clients, building and maintaining strong executive relationships, addressing high-level client needs, and resolving complex issues.


• Oversee and mentor audit teams, ensuring high-quality performance and adherence to rigorous audit standards. Provide constructive feedback and evaluate team performance.


• Prepare and deliver detailed reports on audit findings, team performance, and strategic recommendations to senior management and partners. Present actionable insights and support decision-making processes.


• Ensure audit procedures comply with relevant laws and regulations, including those set by the SEC, PCAOB, and other regulatory bodies. Assist clients in navigating complex regulatory environments.


• Effectively manage multiple high-profile engagements, balancing priorities and organizing workloads to achieve timely, high-quality results.


• Ensure that permanent files are updated and reviewed, and financial statements and related schedules comply with legal documentation. Perform ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required.


• Supervise and guide the audit team, ensuring high-quality performance and adherence to audit procedures.

Evaluate the performance of team members, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.


• Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in audit and risk management.
