Job Summary:

We're looking for a creative Graphic/UI Designer to enhance the user interface of GVERSE GeoGraphix, our desktop-based geoscience interpretation suite. You'll work closely with product architects and developers to design clean, user-friendly dialogs and icons across WPF, WinForms, and MFC technologies. The role focuses on layout design, control alignment, aesthetics, and visual consistency, for the workflows defined by the product team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Applicant must have an eye for clean and artful design.
  • Able to translate requirements into interaction flows and transform them into functional and user centered UIs for E&P products.
  • Design and polish UI dialogs/forms across WPF, WinForms, and MFC
  • Align and organize controls with attention to spacing and layout
  • Create custom icons and visual elements
  • Maintain the vision of style while creating UI components such as menus, dialogs and icons.
  • Evaluate and improve existing user flows, perform testing (usability and acceptance) and constantly improve user experience.
  • Provide design mockups using Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools
  • Collaborate with the product and development teams to ensure design accuracy

Required Skills:

  • Experience designing UIs for desktop apps (WPF/WinForms/MFC preferred)
  • Strong visual design skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Figma, XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator
  • Icon and asset design experience
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical UI requirements
  • Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS and XAML.
  • Knowledge of user experience design, interface design, interaction design or other related disciplines will be a plus.
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI and UX trends, techniques and technologies.

Experience:

Minimum
:
1-2 years
of UI/UX design or Graphic Design experience.

Preferred
:
2+ to 4
years of experience in UI/UX design.

Education/Qualification:

  • Minimum:
    Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science/Software Engineering/ Computer Arts).
  • Preferred
    : Master's degree (preferably in Computer Science/Software Engineering/ Computer Arts).
