Role Description

Thi
s is a full-time role for a Content Writer (Transcription Editor). The Content Writer (Transcription Editor) will be responsible for creating and editing web content, developing content strategies, conducting research, writing, and proofreading. This is a on-site role located in Mirpur Khas District.

Responsibilities

• Review final videos to verify that scripts and subtitles match the spoken content precisely.
• Correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling in all on-screen text and captions.
• Conduct niche research with the client's perspective in mind to identify suitable B-roll visuals that support the message and context.
• Identify gaps where the editing can be improved using more relevant B-rolls, visuals, or contextual clips.
• Check timing, line breaks, and readability of subtitles.
• Ensure consistency in tone, formatting, and terminology across videos.
• Communicate with editors to fix or suggest improvements when needed.
• Maintain our quality and style guidelines for all projects.

What You Need:

• Excellent English grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.
• High attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to identify subtle mismatches between speech and text.
• Familiarity with subtitle editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Pro, etc.).

• Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field
