Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Geologist with work based in Islamabad, offering partial flexibility for remote work. The Senior Geologist will be responsible for overseeing fieldwork, conducting geological mapping, supervising drilling operations, analyzing geophysical data, and logging samples. The role involves leading exploration activities, ensuring quality and safety standards, and contributing to the development of sustainable mining practices.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Field Work, Geological Mapping, and Logging techniques
- Strong knowledge of Geophysics and associated analysis tools
- Experience in supervising Drilling operations and related exploration activities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective team management and communication skills
- Proficiency in using geological software and tools
- Degree in Geology, Earth Science, or a closely related field; advanced degree preferred
- Experience in sustainable mining practices and familiarity with safety regulations is a plus
