Mavric Technology is seeking an
Advisory Software Engineer
to join our global engineering team. This is a senior client-facing role where you will own end-to-end technical delivery, partner directly with US-based stakeholders, and mentor engineers to raise team capability. At Mavric, Advisory engineers are trusted to balance technical leadership with business impact shaping architecture, guiding delivery, and ensuring measurable client success.

Location:
Lahore, Pakistan (with US hours overlap)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of complete client projects, from architecture to deployment.
  • Make pragmatic technical decisions that balance speed, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
  • Partner directly with clients to clarify requirements, provide strategic input, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Mentor Software Engineers and Senior Engineers, providing code reviews, coaching, and onboarding support.
  • Contribute to Mavric's engineering standards, best practices, and technical frameworks.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring predictable, high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to align technical execution with business goals.

Requirements

  • 8+ years
    of professional software development experience (capability matters more than tenure).
  • Proven track record of leading technical projects with direct client impact.
  • Strong architecture and system design skills, with experience scaling applications.
  • Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) and backend technologies , Java, or similar).
  • Solid database knowledge (SQL and NoSQL) and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure automation.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and contribute to hiring processes.
  • Fluent English and ability to work overlapping US business hours.
