This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Laravel API Engineer located in Islamabad. The Senior Laravel API Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining RESTful APIs using Laravel, designing and implementing scalable and reliable systems, debugging and troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications. The role also involves working with embedded systems and practicing object-oriented programming principles to develop high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

  • PHP 7+8 - Laravel API development - 7+ years

  • PHP 7+8 - Laravel Blade Templates + Asset Bundling - 5+ years

  • Eloquent ORM + MariaDB / MySQL / SQLite - 7+ years

  • JS EmcaScript 14 + JS Modules + JQuery years

  • Experience working with queues, commands and events

  • Experience developing ERP or CMS software

  • Experience developing print layouts

  • Know how to administer and configure Linux servers, SSH tunnels, using ftp etc.

  • Experience working with Git, Atlassian Jira, and PHPStorm IDE.

  • Custom framework or router, migrator, queue, cache, etc

  • Open source packages

  • Real-time broadcasts and communication services

  • Analytics and big data processing

Responsibilities

  • Designing schema

  • APIs development

  • Constructing special-purpose components for various features, both in PHP and JS.

  • Development of API clients, controllers, repositories, and various views for features

  • Composing listings and using data series for various statistics widgets
