We're looking for a dedicated SEO Executive who understands every layer of organic marketing — from technical foundations to strategic content planning. Someone who's detail-oriented, analytical, and hungry to push results beyond expectations.

Role Summary

As an SEO Executive at Oscend, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing both on-site and off-site SEO strategies for multiple clients. You'll work closely with the content, design, and development teams to ensure that every digital asset we produce contributes to organic growth.

Key Responsibilities1. Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute customized SEO strategies aligned with client goals.
• Conduct comprehensive keyword research, competitor analysis, and market opportunity mapping.
• Create short-term and long-term SEO roadmaps and performance forecasts.
• Collaborate with the creative and paid media teams to integrate SEO with content and campaign strategies.

2. On-Page Optimization

• Optimize website architecture, URLs, titles, meta tags, headers, and alt text.
• Perform regular on-page audits to identify crawl, indexing, or structure issues.
• Develop internal linking strategies to enhance site authority and UX.
• Work with the content team to optimize blogs, landing pages, and service pages for SEO intent and readability.
• Implement schema markup, structured data, and keyword mapping for key pages.

3. Off-Page SEO & Link Building

• Build and manage white-hat backlink strategies (guest posts, PR outreach, collaborations).
• Conduct backlink audits, remove toxic links, and maintain domain authority.
• Research and pitch link-building opportunities on niche and high-authority domains.
• Coordinate digital PR campaigns with relevant publishers or influencers when required.

4. Technical SEO

• Perform in-depth technical audits using tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Semrush.
• Identify and fix crawl errors, broken links, canonical issues, and redirect loops.
• Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile-friendliness.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure websites follow SEO best practices in structure, code, and performance.
• Manage XML sitemaps, files, and structured data implementation.

5. Performance Tracking & Reporting

• Set up and monitor Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, and Tag Manager.
• Track rankings, traffic, conversions, and CTR across all client properties.
• Create monthly SEO reports and insights with actionable recommendations.
• Analyze trends, competitor movements, and algorithm updates — and adapt strategies accordingly.

6. Collaboration & Coordination

• Work cross-functionally with Oscend's content, design, and media teams to ensure SEO consistency.
• Train or guide junior team members (when applicable) on keyword optimization and research techniques.
• Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm changes and SEO innovations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of professional SEO experience (agency or freelance).
• Tools Expertise: Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Majestic, and WordAI (preferred).
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (especially WordPress and Shopify).
• Analytical Skills: Strong command of Excel/Sheets for reporting and data analysis.
• Content Understanding: Ability to identify content gaps and recommend topic clusters for organic growth.
• Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.

Bonus Points (Not Mandatory)

• Experience in local SEO (Google My Business optimization).
• Familiarity with YouTube SEO or app store optimization.
• Basic knowledge of AI-assisted content tools and automation workflows.
