Job description

We are seeking a skilled Content Editor with a strong background in English Literature and Linguistics to join our team. The role requires someone who can refine content to the highest editorial standards, evaluate accuracy, and bring clarity to complex topics. You will play an important part in shaping content that is factually correct, easy to read, and tailored to user intent.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and proofread articles, product descriptions, and user guides for grammar, clarity, tone, and consistency.
  • Verify factual accuracy, validate sources, and identify gaps or inconsistencies in content.
  • Conduct in-depth research on technical and specialized topics to strengthen content quality.
  • Write clear and concise content that prioritizes readability and a people-first approach.
  • Suggest improvements in structure, flow, and alignment with user needs.
  • Collaborate with writers and researchers to maintain high editorial standards.
  • Manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

  • M.Phil in English Literature and Linguistics.
  • Proven experience in content editing, with a portfolio of published or edited work.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities with a track record of ensuring factual correctness.
  • Exceptional editing and communication skills with attention to clarity and consistency.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects without compromising quality.

  • Advanced knowledge of content editing and proofreading techniques.
  • Proficiency in using AI-powered tools to support research.
  • Strong ability to quickly grasp complex topics and simplify them for readers.
  • Intensive research skills, with experience in evaluating and cross-checking multiple sources.
  • Keen attention to detail with a sharp eye for grammar, style, and factual correctness.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify content gaps and suggest improvements.
  • Adaptability to work on diverse content types, including technical, academic, and user-focused writing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs55,000.00 – Rs70,000.00 per month
