Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about quality,

automation, and leveraging AI-powered tools to build scalable and reliable test automation

frameworks. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure highquality

releases across the SDLC.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Review product requirements, quality specifications, and technical design documents to
  • provide early and actionable feedback.
  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites using modern automation
  • frameworks.
  • Leverage AI-assisted testing tools to:
  • o Generate test cases
  • o Optimize regression suites
  • o Detect flaky tests
  • o Improve test coverage and execution efficiency
  • Implement and maintain UI, API, and integration test automation.
  • Perform data validation and data quality testing using complex SQL queries.
  • Participate in all testing phases including smoke, functional, integration, system,
  • regression, and automation testing
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
  • Create, manage, and track defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Ensure quality standards, best practices, and compliance throughout the SDLC.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering teams to ensure testability
  • and quality from design to delivery
  • Conduct quality demos and test walkthroughs for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, promoting automation-first and AI-enabled testing
  • practices.

What Makes You a Good Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3–6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test
  • automation.
  • Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals, test planning, and execution.
  • Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as:
  • o Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar
  • o API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)
  • Experience using AI-powered QA tools (e.g., AI-assisted test generation, self-healing tests,
  • intelligent test selection) or strong willingness to adopt them.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for backend and data validation.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or equivalent.
  • Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong ownership mindset and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts applied to testing (test optimization, anomaly detection,
  • predictive quality).
  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience testing microservices and APIs.
  • Exposure to data engineering or data science workflows.
  • Strong self-learning mindset and interest in emerging QA and AI technologies.
