BBP employs cutting-edge machinery (e.g., Heidelberg Speed Master, die-cutting, foiling, UV printing) and places a strong emphasis on sustainability and design excellence.

Role Description

We're seeking a creative and technically adept Graphic Designer who excels in packaging design, from concept to print, who can help elevate brand experiences through stunning visual layouts, thoughtful material selection, and production-ready artwork.

Requirements

  • Develop visual designs for a wide variety of packaging types: luxury boxes, rigid boxes, retail, beauty, influencer, gift, and shipping materials.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders (sales, prepress, production) to understand needs and create mockups, dyelines, and final artwork.
  • Implement branding elements and premium finishes, including embossing, debossing, foil stamping, spot UV, gloss/mate/soft-touch coatings.
  • Prepare print-ready files, oversee prepress checks, ensure artwork meets technical requirements (color fidelity, bleeds, resolution).
  • Ensure artwork is optimized for machinery like Heidelberg print machines, foiling, lamination, die-cutting.
  • Maintain awareness of eco-conscious design solutions (e.g., recyclable materials, kraft paper, textured board).
  • Keep up with packaging trends and suggest creative finishes or enhancements that align with BBP's sustainable, high-quality brand positioning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in packaging design, preferably for luxury or retail brands.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) plus packaging-specific tools (ArtiosCAD or similar) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of production processes: offset/digital printing, die-cutting, coatings, finishing.
  • Familiarity with sustainable materials (SBS board, kraft, recycled) and packaging styles (slide, magnetic, collapsible).
  • Excellent color theory and typography skills; attention to dyeline rules, fold lines, and structural constraints.
  • Collaborative communicator with the ability to manage deadlines through design to production stages.

Bonus:
Experience with environmental graphic design or user experience packaging.
