Role Purpose

Elevate 's visual storytelling across social media and YouTube through compelling, high-quality video content. From ASK ABBU episodes to promotional and product videos, you will deliver engaging edits that inspire, inform, and convert—while collaborating closely with the creative team to ensure professional standards across all video output.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form content (7–45 seconds) for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, as well as mid-form videos (2–8 minutes) for ASK ABBU.
  • Produce YouTube-ready edits: intros/outros, lower thirds, captions, transitions, and thumbnail graphics.
  • Create motion graphics for marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
  • Edit and optimise product videos (macro, 360° views, and lifestyle cuts) for use on product pages and marketing assets.
  • Collaborate with the photography and production team to achieve desired results, guiding them remotely on camera setup, ideal lighting, and product video shooting using available equipment.
  • Possess basic knowledge of photography and videography equipment, including lighting setups, camera configurations, and framing techniques.
  • Assist in maintaining consistent lighting and colour profiles across all edits to ensure brand uniformity.
  • Manage video asset organisation, backups, and media libraries efficiently.
  • Continuously research social trends to refine editing techniques, pacing, and storytelling style.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Must hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Media Production, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional video editing experience, ideally in a digital-first or e-commerce setting.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; basic knowledge of Audition preferred.
  • Proven understanding of platform-specific requirements (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok).
  • Experience working with raw footage, product macro shots, and multi-camera workflows.
  • Ability to collaborate remotely and guide non-technical team members on technical setups.

Desirable Skills

  • Colour correction and grading proficiency (Lumetri or similar).
  • Familiarity with jewellery, fashion, or luxury content production.
  • Experience producing or editing educational content or interviews.

Success Metrics (First 90 Days)

  • Consistent delivery of high-quality video content across platforms.
  • +25% increase in engagement and average view duration on ASK ABBU.
  • Establishment of a clear remote production workflow for future video shoots.
