We are seeking a highly competent and results-driven Manager – Internal Audit with a professional qualification (CA Finalist, ACCA, ACMA, or MBA) and 5–7 years of relevant experience. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on internal audit assignments across all business functions, ensuring adherence to internal controls, risk management policies, and regulatory requirements. The role also involves identifying process improvements and supporting management in achieving business objectives through effective governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit Planning & Execution:
  • Develop risk-based annual internal audit plans in coordination with senior management.
  • Lead and manage audit assignments, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
  • Ensure audits are conducted in line with the internal audit charter and professional standards (e.g., IIA standards).
  • Risk Assessment & Control Evaluation:
  • Identify and assess areas of significant business risk.
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
  • Recommend improvements to internal controls and business processes.
  • Reporting & Communication:
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, root causes, and practical recommendations.
  • Present audit findings to senior management and assist in action plan development.
  • Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations and track status.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Supervise and mentor junior auditors during assignments.
  • Ensure high-quality work and compliance with audit methodologies.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and integrity.
  • Compliance & Advisory:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Act as an advisor to management on internal controls, process improvements, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support external auditors and regulatory inspections as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Qualified CA, ACCA, ACMA, or MBA in Finance/Audit/Risk Management.
  • Experience:
  • 6 to 7 years of relevant experience in internal audit, preferably in a multinational or large corporate environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and audit tools is a plus.
  • Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
  • CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
  • Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards (IIA), accounting principles (IFRS/IAS), and risk-based auditing.
  • Analytical and critical thinking with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and objectivity.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of audit software is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs160, Rs200,000.00 per month
