Job Overview

SourceKode Solutions is seeking a forward-thinking Animator + Illustrator to join our creative team in Lahore. You'll be responsible for crafting visually compelling, trend-driven animated and illustrated content for digital platforms—especially short-form, vertical, and AI-enhanced media. This role demands strong 2D/3D animation skills, illustration expertise, and fluency in emerging design tools and storytelling trends. Key Responsibilities

• Animation & Motion Design
• Conceptualize and execute original animations across formats including vertical, landscape, square, and interactive content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and websites.
• Design and implement motion graphics, VFX, and animated elements using tools like Adobe After Effects, Blender, and Runway ML.
• Create green screen content with expert-level chroma keying, compositing, and seamless integration of background assets.
• Use AI-powered platforms (Runway, Pika, Adobe Sensei) for time-saving automation and visual experimentation.
• Illustration & Visual Design
• Develop original illustrations, character designs, and visual assets for use in animations, campaigns, and social media.
• Create storyboards, concept art, and style frames to guide animation and design direction.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and copywriters to ensure visual consistency across brand touchpoints.
• Use tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma to produce high-quality static and animated visuals.
• Creative Collaboration & Trend Awareness
• Stay updated with 2025 digital trends, animation aesthetics, and performance-driven storytelling techniques.
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver unified, high-performing campaigns.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently in a deadline-driven, fast-paced creative environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Illustration, Digital Media, or related field (preferred but not mandatory with strong portfolio).
• 2–3 years of proven experience in animation and illustration.
• A modern, trend-aware portfolio showcasing 2D/3D animation, character design, illustration work, and green screen integration.
• Proficiency in:
• Animation Tools: Adobe After Effects, Blender, Runway ML, Pika, Descript, Adobe Sensei
• Illustration Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions, and visual composition.
• Experience in interactive and shoppable content formats is a plus.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Creativity, adaptability, and a passion for creating engaging visual content that performs.

Bonus Points

• Familiarity with interactive platforms (e.g., Wirewax, Vimeo OTT).
• Ability to experiment with AI-generated visuals or text-to-video platforms.
• Experience with character rigging and frame-by-frame animation.
