About the Role

MALC is seeking an Internal Auditor to review, evaluate, and strengthen internal control systems across the organization. The role ensures compliance with Board-approved policies, safeguards assets, maintains accurate and secure information, and supports adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute audits and compliance reviews as per the approved Internal Audit Plan.
  • Evaluate processes, documentation, and internal controls to identify risks, gaps, and non-compliance.
  • Prepare clear audit reports with findings, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Conduct special audits as assigned by the Senior Manager Internal Audit.
  • Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Review quarterly and annual financial statements, including budget comparisons.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support audit documentation and working papers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Partly qualified
    ACCA / CA / ICMA / CIMA / PIPFA
  • Minimum
    3 years of internal audit experience
    , including Articleship from a reputable firm (preferably Top 10)
