Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our US Backoffice team. The ideal candidate will assist with reviewing and managing legal documents, support our US team with immigration-related matters, and ensure compliance with legal procedures and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with our legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lease Document Review: Thoroughly review and analyze lease agreements and related documentation to ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and industry regulations. Identify and address any discrepancies or issues.
  • Property Management Support: Assist in managing property-related matters, including lease renewals, amendments, and terminations. Ensure all property documentation is current and accurately filed.
  • Immigration Support: Provide assistance with preparing, filing, and tracking immigration documents, including work visas and permits for employees as required.
  • Legal Research: Research legal issues related to property management and leasing within the wireless retail sector, supporting the legal team with relevant insights.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that all lease agreements and property-related processes adhere to legal standards and company policies. Address any compliance issues promptly.
  • Case Management: Maintain organized case files, track key deadlines, and coordinate with various departments to support legal and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, preferably with exposure to immigration law and back-office legal support.

Skills:

  • Expertise in reviewing and managing lease documents and property-related legal matters.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures related to property and leasing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document management software.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with immigration laws and procedures is highly desirable.
