Entomologist

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Officer / Entomologist to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting site inspections, identifying pest species, implementing IPM strategies, preparing technical reports, and ensuring compliance with industry standards including PPMA, NPMA, EPA & WHO guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site surveys and pest identification using entomological techniques.

• Develop and implement Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs for commercial, industrial, and residential clients.

• Monitor pest activity through traps, visual checks, and digital reporting tools.

• Recommend appropriate treatment methods (chemical & non-chemical) based on infestation level and IPM principles.

• Prepare accurate inspection reports, gap analysis, root-cause analysis, and preventive action plans.

• Maintain proper documentation including service logs, chemical usage records, MSDS, and site audit files.

• Train technicians and staff on IPM procedures, safety protocols, and proper application methods.

• Communicate professionally with clients regarding findings, recommendations, and preventive measures.

• Ensure compliance with company standards and international pest control guidelines.

• Assist in tenders, proposals, and technical presentations when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• BSc / MSc in Entomology, Agriculture, Zoology, or related discipline.

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in pest management (fresh candidates with strong knowledge may also apply).

• Strong knowledge of pest biology, life cycles, and environmental/chemical control methods.

• Good communication and report-writing skills.

• Ability to work independently and with field teams.

• Willing to travel to client sites across pakistan

• Familiarity with safety standards, PPE usage, and handling of pest control chemicals.
