Role Description The Video Editor role at Proficient Tech is a full-time, on-site position based in Karāchi. In this role, the Video Editor will assemble, edit, and refine video content for various digital platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing raw footage, applying color grading, integrating motion graphics and visual elements, and collaborating with creative and marketing teams to develop engaging storytelling. The Video Editor will also prepare final exports in required formats, maintain an organized asset library, and contribute ideas to improve video quality and audience engagement. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including handling raw footage, assembling sequences, and refining final cuts.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual tone, style, and quality across all video projects.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create visual elements, titles, transitions, and simple animations that support storytelling.
• Relevant skills include proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
• Beneficial qualifications include experience working with cross-functional teams, strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and familiarity with social media and digital content formats.
• A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
