Job Summary TeReSol (Private) Limited is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Embedded Systems Engineering to lead and oversee complex embedded systems engineering projects from conceptualization and design to development, integration, testing, and delivery. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical expertise in embedded hardware and software development, strong project management capabilities, and a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary engineering teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving technical excellence, ensuring successful project execution, and aligning engineering activities with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic and technical leadership for end-to-end embedded systems engineering projects.
• Lead project planning, execution, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, and timely delivery.
• Oversee embedded software, firmware development, hardware design, system architecture, and hardware-software integration.
• Guide engineering teams in C/C++, microcontroller platforms, System-on-Chip (SoC) integration, Embedded Linux, and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Supervise hardware-software co-design, PCB-level integration, board bring-up, peripheral interfacing, and system-level troubleshooting.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet technical specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinate with senior management, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance, address technical challenges, and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
• Mentor technical leaders and engineering teams while promoting innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processes. Required Skills and Competencies
• Extensive expertise in embedded systems architecture, firmware development, and system integration.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and low-level embedded programming.
• Hands-on experience with ARM Cortex-M, AVR, PIC, or other microcontroller architectures and SoC platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of Embedded Linux and RTOS platforms, including FreeRTOS and Zephyr.
• Strong understanding of hardware-software co-design, device drivers, communication protocols, and peripheral interfacing.
• Experience with embedded debugging and testing tools, including GDB, JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Strong knowledge of system-level integration, verification, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to lead large engineering teams and manage multiple complex technical projects.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience Requirements
• Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience in embedded systems engineering and development.
• Substantial experience in leading large-scale embedded systems projects and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Demonstrated success in managing project lifecycles, technical resources, and engineering deliverables.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical engineering solutions and successfully delivered projects.
