Senior Manager – Web Development & Quality Audit
Location:
Clifton, Karachi (on-site, full time)
Salary:
PKR 300,000 – 500,000 per month, based on experience Reports to: Leadership / USA team IMPORTANT: DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE. We require 10+ years in web development, 5+ years managing developers, hands-on custom PHP coding, and expertise in WordPress, Divi, Elementor, Shopify, WooCommerce, SiteGround, and AWS. This is critical. Applications that do not meet these requirements will be rejected without review.
About the role
We're looking for a mature, hands-on senior manager to own our web delivery end to end. You'll lead a team of developers, audit every piece of work before it ships, keep our servers and hosting running smoothly, and be the person our USA team trusts to say "it's done, and it's done right." This is not a maintenance job. We want an aggressive, highly motivated leader who will take our web presence to the next level: modernize our stack, work hand in hand with our SEO team, and lead a full evaluation and migration to Webflow or Vercel if it's the right move. You'll still roll up your sleeves and code when the team needs it. This is a long-term leadership seat with real growth ahead of it, not a stepping stone. We want someone who plans to build something here over years.
What you'll do
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of web developers (assigning work, reviewing code, coaching)
- Personally QA and audit all website work for correctness, performance, security, and deadlines
- Own hosting and infrastructure: SiteGround, AWS, and other cloud environments (setup, migrations, backups, uptime, security)
- Build and troubleshoot WordPress sites using Divi and Elementor, plus custom HTML/CSS
- Plan timelines, track delivery, and make sure nothing slips
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for our USA team, including responding after hours when needed
- Work closely with the SEO team so every site is built for performance, rankings, and conversions
- Lead the evaluation of Webflow and Vercel and, if approved, own the complete migration end to end
- Write code yourself when needed: custom PHP, WordPress theme/plugin work, and fixes the team can't solve
- Build, teach, and mentor the team on Shopify and WooCommerce stores
- Set standards, document processes, and continuously improve how the team works What we're looking for
- 10+ years in web development, with at least 5 years managing developers
- Expert-level WordPress, Divi, Elementor, and HTML/CSS
- Strong custom PHP coding skills (required, not optional)
- Solid experience with Shopify and WooCommerce
- Working knowledge of Webflow and/or Vercel (Next.js), and experience migrating sites between platforms
- Understanding of technical SEO: site speed, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, crawlability
- Strong experience managing servers and hosting: SiteGround, AWS, cPanel, DNS, SSL, cloud platforms
- A proven track record of QC/auditing developer work and holding a team to high standards
- Aggressive, self-driven, and ambitious: you push for better, not just "working"
- Excellent spoken and written English; comfortable on calls and in writing with US clients and colleagues
- Stable career history: we're looking for someone who has stayed and grown with employers, not frequent job changes
- Lives in or near Clifton, Karachi, or is able to commute reliably Schedule
- 9-hour workdays, Monday to Friday, on-site in Clifton
- Alternate Saturdays in the office
- Some after-hours availability to coordinate with the USA team
What we offer
- PKR 300k–500k monthly, with room to grow with your impact
- A senior leadership role with a clear path to more responsibility
- Direct exposure to US clients and projects
