THRIVE is seeking motivated ABA practitioners who are not yet BCBA-certified but are looking to develop their clinical skills within a structured, high-quality supervision model. This role is ideal for individuals pursuing certification pathways or seeking intensive mentorship in applied behavior analysis.
The supervision structure at THRIVE offers training geared to allow candidates to pursue ABA certifications offered under international boards such as BACB, QABA and IBAO.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an ABA Practitioner, you will deliver direct therapy services while participating in a comprehensive supervision program designed to build clinical competence, ethical practice, and confidence in applied settings. WHAT YOU’LL GAIN

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Practice
- Deliver direct ABA therapy to assigned clients
- Maintain a minimum of 12 client hours per month
- Implement treatment protocols under BCBA guidance Documentation & Collaboration
- Assist with consultation and assessment reports
- Prepare client progress updates as required
- Participate actively in supervision meetings and training SUPERVISION STRUCTURE
- Minimum 6 supervision meetings per month (individual and group)
- Meetings are at least 30 minutes each, with group supervision not exceeding 50% of total time
- Monthly in-person session observation (1 hour) with the BCBA
- Ongoing performance feedback and clinical coaching ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, ABA, or a related field
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental or behavioural needs (preferred)
- An RBT or equivalent (IBAT/IBT), or completed ABA specific coursework
- Interest in pursuing BCBA or equivalent certification (strongly preferred)
- Commitment to ethical, client-centred practice
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to participate in in-person supervision and client sessions WHO THIS ROLE IS IDEAL FOR

This job is required to be performed in-person at our location. Supervision services will be offered under contractual terms including renumeration for such services. Compensation for the direct therapy services performed by the ABA practitioner will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. THRIVE is a Centre for Health and Wellbeing that hosts a multi-disciplinary team including psychologists, speech & language pathologists, behaviour therapists, a developmental paediatrician, a psychiatrist, and other professionals all focused on bringing an evidence-based and holistic approach to supporting clients needs. We work with children, adults, their families, and also offer services for school communities including consultancy services, psycho-educational assessments, and tailored trainings & workshops.
