GGES is Hiring — Multiple Senior Engineers for an Agentic FinTech MVP
GGES is assembling a very small, senior engineering team to help build an agent-powered finance MVP for a local business.
We are intentionally not building a large development team.
We want 2 exceptional senior engineers, plus 1 part-time reliability specialist, who can own complete technical areas and work directly with the CTO.
This is not a basic chatbot project.
The platform combines AI agents with real financial workflows, SaaS/API integrations, RAG, Skills/tool execution, human approvals, observability and production-grade security.
Role 1 — Senior Agentic AI & Backend Engineer
You will help own the core intelligence layer:
Business Agent, Finance Agent, agent orchestration, RAG, Skills/tool execution, structured outputs, Langfuse, OpenRouter-compatible model routing, workflow state, human approval gates, multi-tenancy, auditability and secure backend services.
Strong experience with Python/FastAPI or Node.js/TypeScript is required.
Experience with PostgreSQL, REST APIs, webhooks, queues, Redis, vector search/pgvector, LLM APIs, Docker and cloud infrastructure is highly valuable.
We are looking for someone who has built production AI agents, not only chatbot demos.
You will connect the agent platform to real business and finance systems.
Responsibilities include finance SaaS/API integrations, REST/webhooks, OAuth, canonical data models, application workflows, state machines, queues/retries, idempotency, provider adapters, PostgreSQL and operator/approval interfaces.
Preferred stack:
Node.js / TypeScript + React / Next.js
or
FinTech experience is strongly preferred, but exceptional API/SaaS integration experience can qualify.
Part-Time Contract — Approx. 15–20 Hours/Week
You will help ensure that the AI system remains safe and reliable when models, APIs or infrastructure fail.
Work includes LLM evaluations, Langfuse datasets, regression/integration testing, CI/CD, Cloudflare, monitoring, secrets, API security, tenant-isolation testing, model/provider fallback, load testing and incident response.
What We Care About
We care much more about engineering judgment and real production experience than certificates or AI buzzwords.
You should be able to answer questions such as:
How do you prevent an AI agent from executing an unauthorized financial action?
How do you guarantee that a network retry cannot create a duplicate finance application?
How do you safely isolate customer data in a multi-tenant RAG system?
How do you evaluate a new prompt/model before deploying it?
How can you reconstruct exactly why an agent made a decision three days ago?
Shortlisted candidates will complete the GGES role-specific technical test/assessment followed by a practical engineering challenge.
Finalists will then have a technical interview directly with the CTO.
Relevant portfolio and professional claims may be verified.
Remote — International candidates welcome
We are particularly interested in senior engineers experienced in Agentic AI, FinTech, backend systems, API-heavy SaaS products, automation and production reliability.
Please do not send generic “AI developer” applications.
