  • Engage enterprise customers to understand business continuity, availability, capacity, rack density, power, cooling, physical security, connectivity, expansion and operational requirements.
  • Develop data center conceptual and detailed designs covering white space, raised flooring, racks, containment, structured cabling, active/passive network infrastructure, power distribution, UPS, PDU, generators and associated facilities.
  • Apply and interpret relevant data center standards and frameworks, particularly TIA-942 and Uptime Institute Tier III / Rated-3 concepts, while clearly identifying customer-specific design and compliance requirements.
  • Evaluate and design different cooling approaches including conventional precision cooling, in-row cooling, perimeter cooling, containment-based cooling and high-density/liquid-cooling considerations where applicable.
  • Develop power infrastructure concepts including utility feeds, generators, UPS configurations, STS/ATS, PDUs, redundancy, power monitoring and distribution to IT loads.
  • Design telecom and structured cabling infrastructure, including fiber and copper connectivity, pathways, racks, patching and cross-connect considerations.
  • Coordinate active network, compute, storage, security and facilities requirements to ensure an integrated data center architecture.
  • Prepare architecture drawings, layouts, BoQ/BoM, technical specifications, compliance matrices, RFI/RFQ/RFP/tender responses, presentations and technical proposals.
  • Conduct customer workshops and site discussions; perform pre-work, data collection, assumptions, gap analysis and technical risk identification.
