  • Hours:                        40hrs, Mon-Fri 10:00am-7:00pm
  • Salary range:              From PKR 300,000 per month

The impact of your role

As the Finance Manager, you will have an impact on financial health and operational success of Giant. Therefore, you will be responsible for the financial management and administration of business, establishing and maintaining internal controls and fostering the professional development of the team. The desired outcome of this will be to ensure that financial reports and accounts are thorough, accurate and compliant with relevant legislation, and that they are delivered within the established financial timelines

Key responsibilities of the role include:

 

  • Drive the financial forecasts and reporting activities by effectively coordinating with teams, counterparts and other cross functional teams.
  • Oversee financial operations across all the global subsidiaries, ensuring consistency in financial practices and adherence to international accounting standards and local legislation.
  • Identify and manage financial risks associated with global operations, including currency fluctuations, tax implications, and regulatory changes.
  • Ensure that financial reports and accounts are comprehensive, accurate, and compliant with both global and local legislative requirements. This includes managing the consolidation of financial data from various regions and preparing reports that meet both internal and external auditing standards.
  • Continuously assess and enhance financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy in global financial reporting and operations.

Your ideal experience & competencies 

Ideally, you should hold a degree in finance and possess an ACCA, CA, or CFA qualification, with 5-6 years of experience, preferably in global financial operations.

You can only excel in this role with:

  • High level of commercial acumen
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles
  • Significant analytical skillset
  • Strong Quantitative abilities
