Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Companies.
  • Computation of tax returns such as VAT, self-assessment, and UK Corporation Tax.
  • Payroll processing and filing.
  • Supervision and training of Junior Staff.
  • Managing client portfolio.
  • Communication with clients and managing portfolio.

Skills Required:

  • Working experience in an outsourcing firm is a plus point.
  • Exposure to Cloud Accounting Software such as XERO, QuickBooks, Sage 50.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

  • ACCA/ICAEW/CA Qualified or any other equivalent accounting qualifications.
  • +2 years of working experience.
  • Working for a UK-based accounting firm or in outsourcing is a plus.

Additional Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in making detailed corporation accounts and tax.
  • UK-based outsourcing experience.
  • Supervision of at least 2-3 employees.
  • Experience in year-end accounts and tax planning is also preferred.
  • If not totally UK relevant experience, experience in local accounting in Pakistan is acceptable, with the ability to be trained in UK accounts and tax laws.
