We are seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer with 4–5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, have strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, and be deeply knowledgeable in private cloud connectivity and secure Azure infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Solution Architects to understand infrastructure requirements and ensure designs align with provisioning requirements.
  • Implement parameterized deployments with Terraform using variable files and environment-specific configurations.
  • Deploy and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters with a deep understanding of networking, node pools, scaling, private ingress, RBAC, and secure workload deployment.
  • Provision and secure Azure PaaS services (Storage, Key Vault, App Service, Cosmos DB, Function Apps) using Terraform with private endpoints.
  • Maintain and manage infrastructure and application CI/CD pipelines using GitLab across development, testing, staging, and production environments, ensuring consistency, isolation, and deployment reliability.
  • Manage identity and secrets using Azure Key Vault integrated into pipelines securely.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 4–5 years of DevOps experience, preferably in an Azure-focused environment.
  • Strong expertise in Terraform and GitLab CI/CD (or similar tools).
  • Proven experience in designing and deploying private connectivity within Azure using:
  • VNets, Private Endpoints, Private Links, NSGs, UDRs
  • Custom DNS configurations
  • Strong knowledge of network security, service isolation, and role-based access control (RBAC) in Azure.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of AKS, Helm, and container-based deployment strategies.
  • Familiarity with Azure Policy, Blueprints, and policy-as-code enforcement.

  • Self-driven, motivated and with a proactive troubleshooting mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and lead DevOps efforts in cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced, research-focused project demands.
