We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Accountant to join our financial team for a permanent full-time position. This role supports and coordinates all aspects of accounting operations and conducts high-level analysis of revenue, COGS and expenses. What You\'ll Be Working On

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of daily accounting operations
• Maintain the General Ledger in compliance with established accounting policies and procedures
• Assist with the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and process billings in accordance with contractual terms
• Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and trackers, identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Create periodic reports and coordinate with the operations team to correct errors
• Allocate transactions of different vendors to different programs accurately and ensure funds from the correct account are used for payments
• Implement process improvements and prepare documentation for newly implemented processes
• Assist in compiling monthly financial statements, monthly accounting schedules, conduct financial analysis on monthly statements, and perform bank reconciliations
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Financial Accountant and other senior members of the company
• Prepare ad hoc reporting and conduct analysis as assigned

Qualifications

• Part/Fully Qualified Professional Accounting Qualification / Master's degree in Accounting / Finance or related field
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting policies
• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas); familiarity with PowerBI preferred
• Ability to work with large datasets and produce accurate reports under deadlines
• Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of multi-currency transactions is a plus
• Familiarity with GP is an asset
