Job Summary

A Full Stack Software Engineer for PHP and VueJS at Creative Chaos is primarily responsible for developing server and client applications across various platforms. This includes writing Restful APIs and developing front-end interfaces for web applications. A senior software engineer ensures that the application's functionality, security, and performance meet design specifications and are bug-free. Senior engineers also mentor junior team members and contribute to team development through training.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize code for security and performance
  • Maintain systems by resolving issues
  • Update issue tracking software
  • Provide status updates
  • Communicate with clients
  • Control code versions
  • Research new technologies
  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers
  • Upgrade skills and knowledge
  • Evaluate candidates for open positions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • At least four (4) years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of core PHP, MVC frameworks, and Yii
  • Experience as a full stack engineer, preferably with VueJS and PHP
  • Proficiency in JQuery, JavaScript, AJAX
  • Experience in writing backend components and Restful APIs
  • Understanding of security standards and compliance
  • Experience with relational and schemaless databases like MySQL
  • Ability to design database structures for functionality
  • Experience with unit testing and maintaining at least 90% test coverage
  • Familiarity with Github, JIRA, and collaboration tools
