Job Summary

A Full Stack Software Engineer specializing in Node and React at Creative Chaos is primarily responsible for developing server and client applications across various software platforms. This includes writing RESTful APIs and creating front-end interfaces for web applications. A senior software engineer ensures that the application's functionality, security, and performance align with the design specifications and are free of bugs. Senior engineers are also tasked with mentoring junior team members and enhancing team capabilities through training.

Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in JavaScript technologies
  • Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks like ExpressJS and NestJS
  • Experience with backend components and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
  • Experience with HTML and CSS for UI development
  • Experience with ReactJS, Redux, and Context API
  • Knowledge of design systems like Material-UI or Atomize
  • Understanding of security standards and compliance
  • Ability to design database structures
  • Experience with unit testing and maintaining at least 90% test coverage
  • Familiarity with GitHub, JIRA, and collaboration tools
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles
  • Basic front-end technology knowledge
  • Flexible, versatile personality
  • Strong presentation and influence skills
