General Summary:

Qualcomm Hardware Engineers plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, including bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, digital/analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and DSP systems that launch cutting-edge products. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of Hardware Engineering experience, OR
  • Master's degree in the same fields with 3+ years of experience, OR
  • PhD in the same fields with 2+ years of experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience, a Master's with 1+ year, or a PhD without specific experience requirements.
Additional Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with Floorplanning, PNR, and STA flows.
  • Knowledge of Placement/Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS), optimization, etc.
  • Understanding of signoff domains like LEC/CLP/PDN.
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux, Perl/TCL scripting.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of PNR implementation on latest nodes.
  • Signoff knowledge including STA, Power analysis, FV, low power verification, PV.
  • Quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of Hardware Engineering experience.
  • Experience with PNR flow in advanced technology nodes (e.g., 4nm/5nm/7nm/10nm).
