Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural analysis and design of new telecom towers and foundations (monopole, self-supporting, guyed).
  • Evaluate existing tower structures for additional loads.
  • Utilize design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Tower, STAAD Pro, etc.) and telecom-specific tools for creating detailed drawings and simulations.
  • Design strengthening solutions for overloaded structures.
  • Prepare and review structural drawings, reports, load calculations, and certification letters.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international standards.
  • Collaborate with teams and vendors for site design integration.
  • Review and verify vendor submissions related to structural elements.
  • Apply knowledge of structural mechanics, wind load analysis, and foundation engineering.
  • Use structural analysis software (STAAD, SAP2000, TOWER).
  • Familiarity with telecom-specific codes (TIA-222-H, IS 875, ANSI).
  • Read and create technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Maintain attention to detail with a safety-first approach.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering; master's preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent.
  • 10–15 years of experience in structural design, preferably in telecom or infrastructure sectors.
