Senior Structural Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

  • Perform comprehensive structural analysis and design for mid-rise and high-rise residential and commercial buildings.
  • Utilize industry-leading software such as ETABS, SAFE, and SAP for modeling and analysis of structures.
  • Conduct detailed structural design and ensure drafting in compliance with building codes and industry standards.
  • Interpret and apply relevant building codes and standards, including UBC-97, ASCE 7, and ACI-314, ACI-318 in the design process.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and clients to ensure the effective implementation of designs.
  • Review and prepare technical documentation, including reports, calculations, and drawings.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Prepare and review ETABS, SAP, and SAFE models.
  • Lead structural design and analysis of high-rise elements including core walls, slabs, foundations, and lateral systems.
  • Ensure structural integrity, stability, and safety throughout all phases of the project.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and project managers to coordinate structural solutions.
  • Perform and review detailed engineering calculations, load assessments, and structural simulations.
  • Prepare and review construction drawings, shop drawings, and structural documentation.
  • Conduct on-site inspections, resolve structural issues, and ensure compliance with building codes and QA/QC standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in ETABS.
  • Expertise in SAFE.
  • Expertise in SAP.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for structural and architectural coordination.
  • Ability to develop structural drawings.
  • Familiarity with design codes: Universal Building Code (UBC-97), Building Code of Pakistan & CDA By Laws, American Concrete Institute (ACI-318), ASCE-7, Post Tension Institute (PTI) Manual.
