Your community

The Admissions team manages the Application & Acceptance processes, Visa procedures, and related activities to deliver customer-focused service to recruitment partners, universities, and institutions.

Your position

The Team Leader oversees a team of regional experts responsible for assessing and submitting applications on behalf of recruiters.

Your impact

You play a vital role in managing the team that determines entry requirements for admissions, ensuring compliance with all regulations and service level agreements (SLAs).

Your backstory

  • Work experience in international student recruitment within an industry or shared services environment.
  • Experience using computerized systems/databases to achieve work goals.
  • Proven experience in an international education role, preferably in International Admissions.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and follow processes, seeking guidance when needed.
  • Strong collaborator, effective in team communication and information sharing.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Growth-oriented mindset, open to feedback and continuous learning.

Your Contribution

  • Oversee the team conducting checks at application, acceptance, and visa stages, ensuring compliance and quality in assessments.
  • Manage processing of student applications and related admission activities.
  • Ensure timely responses across platforms including email, Slack, and others.
  • Supervise completion of forms, checklists, and supporting documents, ensuring accuracy and expedience.
  • Coordinate with recruiters to verify the accuracy and completeness of information and documentation.
  • Conduct regular technical training and onboarding for new team members.
  • Develop reports to inform data-driven decisions regarding universities, recruiters, or regions.
  • Provide ongoing support, feedback, and performance reviews to team members.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with university training teams as needed.
  • Ensure all work complies with institutional standards and service levels.
