Responsibilities
  1. Determining business needs and evaluating existing infrastructure and systems.
  2. Manage installation, configuration, and monitoring of the VMware infrastructure.
  3. VMware fault tolerance and HA configurations.
  4. Troubleshooting and resolving VMware environment issues.
  5. Windows & Linux Server installation, configuration, and administration.
  6. SAN switches installation, configuration, and management.
  7. Vulnerabilities scanner deployment and monitoring.
  8. DR site preparation, server rack mount, installation, and configuration.
  9. Datacenter monitoring, new servers rack mount, installation, and management.
  10. Manage, install, and maintain the health and capacity of storage systems (SAN).
  11. Maintain security and compliance on all data center systems.
  12. Management of Linux services & processes.
  13. Managing Linux & Windows storage and partitions.
  14. Auto scheduling Linux jobs with crontab and bash scripting.
  15. Configuring Nginx as a reverse proxy.
  16. Deployment for system maintenance as needed.
  17. Implementation & management of PAM.
  18. Ivanti, Intune working experience for endpoint management.
  19. MS Defender for endpoint protection.
  20. Backup management using Veeam & Data Domain.
  21. Working with Docker containers and images.
  22. Writing Docker files and deploying Docker images with Docker files.
  23. Working with Docker Compose files.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, or similar.
  2. VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Certified Windows & Linux Administrator preferred.
  3. Proficiency in servers' deployment, VMware ESXi, VRealize Operations, SAN, Windows Server, Linux Ubuntu, VEEAM for backup and recovery management, tape library.
  4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  5. 4 to 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  6. Exceptional analytical and technical aptitude.
  7. Great organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
