We are looking for an experienced Wordpress & Shopify Website Developer. This is a remote position.

Requirements:

  • Experience, deep understanding, and enthusiasm for website development
  • Highly proficient in WordPress & Shopify CMS
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite & Figma
  • Creative eye for design
  • Knowledge of CSS, Java, PHP, and related coding skills

This role offers a long-term on-call relationship that could develop into a full-time position. You will work in a flexible and creative environment with a team that shares your passion. Our office culture is vibrant and fun, with unique decor and interesting clients and projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop websites based on provided design files, enhancing UI/UX, interactivity, and functionality
  • Develop websites within WordPress and Shopify CMS
  • Meet deadlines set by the account manager
  • Manage project budgets and track time using project management software
  • Assist with brainstorming, marketing, and advertising concepts
  • Maintain organized client file archives
  • Contribute creative ideas and design artwork for projects
  • Stay updated on coding and media technologies including WordPress, Shopify, CSS, HTML, Java, MySQL, PHP, Adobe Suite
  • Communicate issues or suggestions proactively
  • Participate in the full creative process from concept to completion
  • Work on multiple projects ensuring originality and brand consistency
  • Understand client business and communication goals to create effective solutions
  • Demonstrate ability to tell stories visually and verbally through messaging and design
  • Experience with hosting environments like Hostgator and GoDaddy, including security, backups, and database management
  • Comfortable using G Suite, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and Google Data Studio
  • Design and develop website concepts, analytics, and SEO optimization
