About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior WordPress Developer to drive the success of our web development projects. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing custom WordPress themes from scratch and collaborating with designers and project managers to deliver exceptional solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom WordPress themes according to client specifications and design requirements.
  • Customize existing themes and plugins to meet project needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality WordPress solutions.
  • Ensure website performance and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and implement best practices for maintainable and scalable code.
  • Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.
Job Requirements:

Mandatory Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in WordPress development.
  • Extensive knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Proficiency in custom theme development, including creating custom post types, taxonomies, and meta-boxes.
  • Experience with popular WordPress frameworks and libraries such as Bootstrap, Foundation, and Underscores.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with headless WordPress development.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and practices.
  • Experience with other CMS platforms such as Drupal or Joomla.
