Ingredion is looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer at our Faisalabad Plant

Responsible for directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality, and cost goals.

This role reports to the Manager Maintenance.

What You Will Do

  1. Mechanical Operation & Maintenance – Hands-on experience with operation & maintenance of mechanical equipment like pumps, gears, conveyors, sifters, dryers, elevators, mills, centrifuges, ID / FD fans, and compressors. Design of Mechanical Systems, familiarity with maintenance techniques like alignment, balancing & condition monitoring, IMS/GMP requirements, etc.
  2. Maintenance Activities – Responsible for effective & timely maintenance of mechanical systems and auxiliaries, ensuring compliance with PM & condition-based schedules through SAP. Create & implement PM / CM schedules, introduce smart maintenance techniques, evaluate critical store items, generate PRs, and ensure machine readiness.
  3. Project Execution Activities – Share new quality ideas, prepare feasibility reports, BOQs, follow up on procurement, and ensure safe execution of capex / MOC projects. Contract management is mandatory.
  4. EHS Responsibilities – Implement EHS standards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure a safe working environment for subordinates.
  5. Cost Reduction Initiatives – Identify opportunities for cost reduction, recommend new equipment/methods, and improve operational efficiency.
  6. People Development – Build relationships with stakeholders, develop a motivated work environment, and ensure staff awareness of best practices. Supervise & guide technical activities and follow training needs analysis.
  7. Compliance of Company Policies – Ensure compliance with electrical-related legal requirements.

What You Will Bring

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  2. Work experience in Petrochemical / Fertilizer / Process / Food industries
  3. 4-7 years of hands-on experience in operation & maintenance of electrical installations
  4. Fluency in English, both written and spoken
