Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Production Packing Officer, located in Korangi Karachi. The Production Packing Officer will be responsible for managing packaging operations, ensuring quality control, maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and coordinating with different departments to streamline packing processes. Daily tasks include overseeing the packing of products, monitoring production schedules, and ensuring that packaging materials are adequately stocked and utilized efficiently. The role also requires maintaining detailed records and reports on packaging activities and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise packing operations to meet production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and quality standards.
  • Monitor and optimize resource utilization to improve efficiency and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct in-process checks, line clearance activities, and maintain accurate production records.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Provide training to staff on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality requirements.

Qualifications, Skills And Education

  • Pharm-D or B-Pharm degree is required.
  • 0-1 years of experience in a production packing role.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow compliance standards.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar systems for inventory and production data management.
  • Knowledge of EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
