Position: Accountant (Accounting/Audit Firm Experienced)
Job Description

Applicants should ideally be CA qualified with at least 1 year of practice experience or can be ACCA/CIMA Part-Qualified.

Responsibilities
  1. Accounts Receivable & Payable: Matching, coding, and processing purchase/sales invoices.
  2. Ensuring debtor balances are within targets and customer accounts are periodically reconciled; reconciling AR balances to control accounts.
  3. Resolving customer/supplier queries and ensuring controls/processes are in place to minimize such queries.
  4. Dealing with staff expenses and ensuring company policy adherence.
  5. Reconciliation of suppliers' statements, processing BACS payments, distributing remittance advices.
  6. Reconciling all banks including credit cards daily and ensuring bank balances match control accounts.
  7. Reporting: Producing daily and weekly reports, preparing monthly management accounts, and leading monthly balance sheet reviews.
  8. System Implementations, Compliance & Training: Implementing accounting systems, training junior colleagues, assisting with external reporting and compliance audits, and identifying process improvement opportunities.
The Successful Applicant
  1. Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a minimum of 1+ years' experience.
  2. Ability to provide end-to-end client support independently.
  3. Experience in implementing accounting systems.
  4. Experience in financial and management accounting and controls.
  5. Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel.
  6. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  7. Self-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  9. Results-oriented with a positive attitude.
Additional Details
  • Experience: 1 year
  • Work Timings: 1 pm to 9 pm (UK 9 am - 5 pm)
  • Work Days: Monday - Friday
  • Location: Lahore - Onsite
  • Salary: Market Competitive
