We're looking for an Assistant Manager Quality assurance to ensure the implementation of quality systems, manage in-line, end-line inspections, responsible for Final audit and 3rd party audit, monitor product quality, and drive continuous improvement in processes to meet customer specifications and company standards We're a team of young, driven, and dynamic individuals and would love for you to join us

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor day-to-day quality operations (sewing to Finishing)
    • Ensure compliance with quality standards at all stages – from sewing to Finishing
  • Identify recurring defects, analyze root causes, and suggest corrective actions.
  • Train and guide quality inspectors/executives to strengthen QA performance
  • Maintain and update defect sheets, inspection records, and performance reports.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly quality reports for management review.
  • Make sure all tech packs/spec sheets for new styles or updates to existing styles to ensure accurate production and quality control.
  • Evaluate existing quality control processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance quality, reduce defects, and optimize workflow.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as defect rates, first-pass yield, rework percentage, and process efficiency to measure improvement
  • Liaison with production, merchandising, and technical teams to resolve quality related issues.
  • Handle payroll-related issues, overtime calculations, and HR coordination for QA employees.
  • Support in hiring and onboarding of new QA team members when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Textile Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Quality Management.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, preferably in the textile/ apparel industry
  • In-line, end-line, pre-final, and final inspections, Problem solving
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, RCA, 5 Why's, Pareto
