Software Quality Assurance

VoicePlus is a leading provider of Managed Mobility and Endpoint Services for the Asian Pacific region for over 20 years. Its head office is in Sydney, Australia, and a branch office in Islamabad, Pakistan. We work with leading Enterprises, such as KONE Elevators, Compass Group and Penske.

We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer with a technical background to join our experienced software team to continue the development of our Atrium EndPoint solution.

The successful candidate will enjoy working with a small, highly experienced software development team that collaborates daily on issues. You will be engaged and invited to discuss the best options to deliver enterprise-grade software.

We adopt an agile scrum methodology that provides you ownership of your tasks, clearly defined objectives, and development independence.

1. Maintain software quality of enterprise-level digital assets with a zero-bug production environment.
2. Maintain and enhance system technical documentation and user guides.
3. Create detailed, comprehensive, well-structured test plans and test cases.
4. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing digital assets to meet international quality standards.
5. Strong background in developing Quality Assurance processes and metrics.
6. Strong understanding of Software Quality Assurance methodologies, tools, and approaches including:
   1. Regression testing
   2. Load & Stress Testing
   3. Pre and Post-Production Deployment Testing
   4. Integration Testing
   5. Non-Functional Testing
   6. Automation Tools
   7. Security Testing & Audits
7. Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
8. Strong background in system design, architecture, and requirement analysis.
9. Strong background in User Interface, User Experience, and Prototyping.
10. In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and testing in Sprints.
11. Take initiative to learn new things and grow with the team.
12. Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
13. Strong collaboration and communication skills.
14. Highly professional verbal and written English skills.

The Candidate Must have

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or a similar discipline.
2. Minimum 5+ years' experience in Software Quality Assurance for Enterprise Grade Software.
3. Minimum 2+ years' experience in system design and architecture.
4. Technical background with hands-on programming and database experience.
5. Demonstrable portfolio of documentation work including test cases, software requirements specification documents, user guides, etc.
6. Hands-on experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skillset & Experience

1. Understanding of SQL and should have experience in writing SQL queries.
2. Enterprise-grade software products testing background.
3. Prior experience with Git and SVN subversion.
4. Prior experience with JIRA & Confluence or similar tools.
5. Prior experience with load time performance optimization and security testing processes.
6. Prior experience in the telecom industry.
7. Prior knowledge of testing REST APIs & integrations particularly:
   1. Microsoft Azure and Graph APIs
   2. Single Sign-on Systems
   3. ServiceNow Applications
   4. MDM Platforms, AirWatch & Intune
   5. Snap Engage
   6. FileMaker
