The ideal candidate will be an expert in Manual Testing SQA Engineer responsible for testing the software projects and/or final product. SQA understands the development workflows, frameworks, and methodologies. Designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. Defect densities and open defect counts).

Job Specification

Required Qualifications And Skills:

  1. University degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  2. 1 year of formal QA/testing experience, working on customer-facing enterprise level software solutions.
  3. Comfortable in managing multiple testing approaches from Automation to Manual testing.
  4. Experience with Selenium Web Driver with Java/Cucumber framework (preferred).
  5. Experience of Design Pattern - Page Object Model (preferred).
  6. Experience of Object-Oriented Programming with Java.
  7. Automated test scripting and recording (e.g. Java).
  8. Experience in API Automation on Postman (preferred).
  9. Experience with Microsoft SQL.
  10. Strong familiarity with software lifecycle and quality assurance concepts, testing, approaches and planning.
  11. Strong test documentation, management, execution, and reporting skills.
  12. Strong ability to understand business process and logic.
  13. Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational & interpersonal skills.
  14. Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop written test plans, test cases, and scenario matrix.
  2. Participate and maintain the QA activities, analysis, and tasks.
  3. Proactively implement best practices and sustain team standards.
  4. Verification of defects and fixes.
  5. Defining and implementing testing strategy.
  6. Implementing an automated test framework/scripts.
  7. Building excellent working relationships with Development and the rest of the Test Department to ensure the highest possible quality.
  8. Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  9. Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  10. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  11. Perform extensive manual and automated testing on different versions and able to maintain proper documentation.
  12. Design, develop, and execute automation scripts on different releases.
  13. Create concise, easily understandable defect reports.
  14. Coordinate/participate in meetings with the onshore team on a day-to-day basis and provide active feedback.
  15. Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the onshore Managers.
