Head of Design – Women's Fashion

Lahore, Pakistan | Full-Time, On-Site (Nishat HQ)

Backed by one of Pakistan's leading vertically integrated textile manufacturers

We're launching a premium women's fashion brand focused on unstitched lawn, khaddar, karandi, and festive fabrics — with new capsules dropping every 5–6 weeks.

We're looking for a Head of Design who's done this before: led collections from mood board to shelf, worked with mills and printers, and knows how to combine design creativity with production practicality.

What You'll Lead
  • Seasonal Design Direction – Create and execute print stories, embroidery concepts, colour palettes, and trim ideas.
  • Fast Capsule Development – Launch fresh unstitched drops every 5–6 weeks (6+ capsules/year).
  • Studio & Team Oversight – Lead print designers, colourists, embroidery specialists, and sample makers.
  • Fabric & Trim Finalisation – Lock GSMs, finishes, and embellishments with in-house weaving and dyeing teams.
  • Tech Pack Ownership – Approve print repeats, embroidery placements, and sample production.
  • Collaboration Execution – Co-create capsule collections with external fashion designers and ensure design integrity.
  • Cost-Conscious Design – Partner with merchandising to align creativity with target margins and yield.
You're Right for This If You
  • Have 2+ years of full-time experience designing unstitched women's collections (lawn, winter, festive).
  • Have launched at least two full seasonal collections from concept to store.
  • Can create and finalize repeat layouts, placement prints, and embroidery specs.
  • Are fluent in Photoshop/Illustrator and understand the textile production process.
  • Have worked closely with textile mills or printers on fabrics, dyeing, and strike-offs.
  • Know how to lead a team, work fast, and give clear, decisive feedback.
  • Are excited to shape the design language of a premium new brand from the ground up.
